When is NIE fundamentals?What is TCS IT Wiz?P.S. Brainwave is also coming on 15th November, Manav Sthali School. But I don't think i will be of any help in getting the event details. (AND I won't be making the quiz! Will be participating, So I won't be responsible for any extremely lame question )

Guys, is this true that once you attend HT pace quiz then you don't receive an invitation for NIE fundamental even though your school takes NIE????A senior student is scaring me that I can't attend HT and NIE in the same year as I went for HT in august.Please anybody clear my doubt and pacify me!!!:-( :-S

please anybody tell me is there any provision for on-the-spot registration for TCS (delhi)?This year, my school and teachers deliberately ignored to register and did not even care to listen just because we could'nt give any bright performances last year.but is there any 1 % chance to still get it i don't care how i manage to convince my teacher??/X( :-L ~X(

@sam: I don't think you'll be able to register on the spot. They're saying they won't entertain a single extra team from the same school, a new school registering altogether doesn't seem like a possibility. Part of their registration confirmation letter:
Event Date : 12th Nov' 11
Venue : Dogra Hall, Indian Institute of Technology, Hauz Khas, Delhi
Flow of events:
9:30 AM |Registration

10:45 AM to 11.30 AM |Preliminary Round
|*There will be separate seating
|arrangement for teachers outside the
|auditorium during Prelim round.
----------------------+-----------------------------------------
11:30 AM to 12.00 |Correction Break noon
|*Auditorium will be vacated for
|Correction Break.
|*Six Teams will be short listed for
|Regional Final.
----------------------+-----------------------------------------
12:15 PM to 1:45 PM
|Regional Finals followed by prize distribution
|*Winning team will move to the National Final.
To enjoy the Quiz and to have smooth flow of events at the venue, there are some DOs which must be adhered to:
1. Stick to the team numbers you shared with us. No changes will be entertained at the venue.
2. Students can only carry writing material to the Auditorium.
3. Registration desk will open at 9:30 A.M. and will close sharp at 10:30 A.M. Please do not bring students earlier than 9:00 A.M. or post 10:30 A.M.
4. @ Registration Desk: Only school Teacher/one school representative to approach TCS volunteers at Registration desk. You will be handed over a complete kit for all the students representing your school. You need to distribute the individual kits to the students before the prelim round.
Kit will comprise of - A Quiz Book, Blank participation certificate and a Survey Form.
In addition to this we will also give you ONE 'Prelim Answer Sheet' per team.
5. Ask your students to stick along with his/ her team mate for prelim round.
Advise them to always follow the line and to walk carefully while entering and during Exit from the Auditorium. This will ensure safety of the students.
6. All Students/Teachers/ School representatives must carry their own lunch box and can have their lunch/snacks during the correction break.
7. Drinking water, Coffee/ Tea vending machine will be made available near the venue.
Although it is a competitive quiz , it is important to participate in the event and to appreciate the finalists as it would do the winners world of good if you cheer them up. Along with this learning & quizzing experience, there are also some interesting Audience Prizes to be won.
