Cut Off in TCS IT Wiz?

    Hey,
    I read people talking about cut off marks in TCS IT Wiz. But what does it mean, if only the top 6 teams go on to the regional finals? What use is a cutoff then? Thanks

    dude the cutoff means the score of the last (i.e. 6th) team to qualify on stage

    ^Sometimes Pickbrain indirectly tells the cutoff or you can get hold of the team that stood 7th and ask them or better still, if you are among the top 6, ask all the teams what they scored (however its unlikely that you'll ask for the cutoff once you're on stage) :D.

    haha thats absolutely true, I never cared for the cutoff once i was on stage it was all about winning what was ahead!!

    Or if its the teachers for whom you want to know the cut-off. (Because they generally ask these sort of questions). Just tell them half a number above your score. and tell that pick-brain invited you on stage to inform this. This should please them.

    P.S. Only applies if your teacher is not accompanying you.

    @7aces Aditthya, Syed Murtuza Hashmi, me (Manas Gupta), Karthik Nair are all I know of who are there for the nationals. And I also predict someone whose name is Sanyam will be joining us!

    just wanted to tell everyone that @nayan123 is from my school (Maharaja Agrasen Vidyalaya) and he scored a massive 125 in Ahmedabad's TCS IT Wiz edition 2009 finals!!

    Cut off in TCS Lucknow Edition 2011 was 18/20.

    I got 17 and stood at 7th position.

    Lucknow Edition is one of the toughest
